Telemedicine Explained + FAQs

Drs. Shireesh, Nicole, and Cydney are available for any new or existing patients for chiropractic telemedicine appointments five days a week until we return to in-person care. These appointments can be very effective by evaluating your condition and offering advice through rehabilitative exercise demonstration and pain reduction management strategies.

Our chiropractors are ready and waiting to help you manage your symptoms with a Telemedicine Appointment.

With Doxy.me, an easy to use HIPAA compliant Video Conference call service, we can diagnose and treat many conditions, and refer you out for medical care, physical therapy, or radiology if needed.

Common Conditions Treated Virtually Include:

  • Muscle Strains & Sprains

  • Headaches

  • Neck Pain

  • Mid & Low Back Pain

  • Hip Pain

  • Shoulder Pain

  • Ankle & Wrist Pain

  • Pain Management Strategies

  • Advice on your home office ergonomic setup

  • And more

We’ve been hearing questions from our patients like:

  • Does my insurance cover telemedicine?

    • Yes. Insurance companies accept and are processing claims for telemedicine visits. We will happily bill your insurance company and the cost is very similar to in-office visits. If you do not have insurance, please call us at 503-228-5000 for additional information.

  • Will this visit count towards my deductible?

    • Yes, if your deductible applies.

  • How do I pay my copay or self-pay fees?

    • Our scheduling staff will collect your copay and any self-pay fees at the time of scheduling. If your deductible applies, it will be billed to you after.

  • Will I receive the same level of care with telemedicine as I would in the office?

    • Yes. Our providers take great care in providing high-quality medical care for all of our patients regardless of if the patient is seen via telemedicine or in the clinic. We will provide our patients with detailed instructions on how to prepare for the video call. If your provider is unable to assess or diagnose your condition via telemedicine, you will be referred for in-person care.

We look forward to walking you through the Virtual Health or Telemedicine process. You will be surprised how easy it is!
