Leah comes to Equilibrium after over a decade of working in veterinary medicine before concluding that she'd had one too many holes poked in her hands and wanted to check out the two-legged side of things. 

She appreciates being able to (mostly) speak the same language as her patients and especially enjoys connecting with folks on a human level. She's skilled at getting them to laugh through her creative writing and fondness for tiny acts of art and design.

Out of the office, Leah is an ultra-endurance athlete, an "enthusiastic uphill conversationalist," and an adventure seeker of many flavors. She's an advocate of movement as an integral part of medicine and a firm believer in the therapeutic powers of fresh air and sunshine. You won't often catch her sitting still. You may not catch her at all. 

She lives in Portland with her 2 dogs, Frida and Roxy, approximately 600 running shoes and collection of N+ 1 bicycles.
